The stadium is in Inglewood, within Hollywood Park, rather than Downtown Los Angeles or Hollywood. The Rams and Chargers share the building, but a football game, concert and major international event can have different arrival instructions, seating layouts and permitted items.

Stadium location and planning map

The map separates the stadium, Hollywood Park, nearby rail stations and the airport hotel corridor. Markers identify approximate areas rather than entrances or parking boundaries. Use your parking pass or event email for the final approach. In particular, LAX airport terminals and LAX/Metro Transit Center are different places; a hotel describing itself as an airport hotel is not automatically beside the rail station.
Hollywood Park is a large district. Being on its grounds does not mean you are already at your stadium gate. Allow for the walk from the bus, parking zone or rideshare area, followed by security and movement to your seating level. The Kia Forum and YouTube Theater are separate venues and may add activity to the surrounding streets.
SoFi Stadium seating guide
Start with the Rams seat viewer or Chargers seat viewer, both linked by the stadium. Then compare the specific event’s ticket map. Football photographs help explain height and distance, but they cannot establish where a concert stage, production tower or soccer technical area will be.

The enormous overhead video display is part of the experience, but do not buy solely on the assumption that it will solve every viewing issue. SoFi has club and suite products as well as standard seats. Upper-level reserved seats are worth comparing before paying more for a lower corner. Budget for parking or transit, meals and any hotel transport alongside the ticket. A small saving on admission can disappear if your overnight base creates two expensive cross-city rides.
For families, prioritize a reserved seat, manageable stairs and a route to restrooms over maximum proximity to the field. An aisle can make breaks easier, though it also brings passing spectators. If anyone needs step-free access, choose an appropriate accessible ticket and establish the route in advance rather than relying on a last-minute relocation.
Concerts and soccer
A football sideline location can become a side-stage view at a concert. Floor tickets may be seated or standing and can present challenges for shorter guests when others stand. Read the actual listing and stage map. For soccer, use the match’s map because pitch dimensions and temporary arrangements can change the lower seating configuration.

Metro rail and the stadium shuttle
Metro’s current SoFi directions use the LAX/Metro Transit Center on the C and K Lines. The SoFi Stadium Express boards at Bus Bay 8. Metro says it operates for preseason, regular-season and postseason NFL games and selected special events, not every stadium event.
For supported NFL games, Metro currently describes outbound service beginning three hours before kickoff, with return service starting in the fourth quarter and continuing for 90 minutes after the game. Recheck your date rather than treating that window as a permanent 2027 timetable. The station has no public parking; motorists should use an appropriate park-and-ride station on the rail network.
Local options listed by Metro include the 115 near Manchester/Kareem, 117 near Prairie/Century and 212 near Prairie/Kelso. Compare the complete trip from your hotel, including transfers and the final walk. A rail-connected hotel is useful only if the connection also works after your event ends.
Driving and remote parking
The stadium parking page links official inventory, color-zone maps and Inglewood Park & Go. Buy the pass before traveling and navigate to its assigned entry. Driving to the stadium’s general street address can bring you to the wrong side of the traffic system.
Remote parking with a shuttle can be a useful compromise for a group coming from outside the rail network. Check where the shuttle returns, how long it operates and whether its vehicle and boarding arrangements suit everyone in your party. Do not assume that an ordinary city parking space includes stadium shuttle access.
Parking zones, tailgating and accessible parking
SoFi distributes parking among color-coded zones around Hollywood Park. The official guide identifies Blue with Lot N, Brown with C/D, Green with A/B and Purple with K/L; consult the current event map for all other assignments and changes. The zone on your pass matters more than the nearest-looking entrance on a navigation app.
The venue requires a parking pass and warns that onsite inventory is limited. Prices vary by event and zone, so this guide does not offer a fixed parking price. Check the official linked seller, vehicle-size restrictions and refund conditions before purchase. Save the pass to your phone and charge the device before leaving.
For selected events, tailgating is restricted to the designated Pink Zone and requires the appropriate pass. A regular parking purchase does not grant permission to set up a grill or spread into surrounding spaces. Keep drive aisles open and follow the event’s current restrictions. Residential streets and unauthorized private lots are not substitutes for a valid parking arrangement.
Accessible spaces are offered in stadium lots on a first-come basis, with both a valid disability placard and the required parking authorization. A placard does not guarantee a particular stall. Contact the venue about mobility needs and the availability of courtesy transport for your date.
Rideshare and the journey home
The stadium currently identifies Kareem Court and Manchester Boulevard for pickup, with drop-off on the northbound curb of Kareem Court using the instructed approach from Pincay Drive. Confirm the event email and the app’s designated pin before requesting a car; traffic personnel may modify access.
Walk to the authorized pickup area before ordering, and agree on a meeting point if your group gets separated. Requesting from your seat can create a mismatch between your arrival and the driver’s permitted waiting time. Keep enough battery for the ticket, return journey and contact with your party.
Choose the return strategy before entering the stadium. If using transit, know the shuttle window and onward train. If driving, expect an exit queue. If using rideshare, allow room in the budget for variable demand. An immediately scheduled airport departure is a poor fit for an event whose finish and exit time are uncertain.
Bag policy and security
The official stadium policy allows clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags up to 12 × 6 × 12 inches, a one-gallon clear freezer bag, and a small non-clear clutch up to 4.5 × 6.5 inches. Clear bags must meet the detailed transparency rules; event-specific instructions can override general guidance.
Do not treat an ordinary backpack or diaper bag as acceptable. Pack only the essentials and check medical or child-feeding needs against the venue’s exception process. Choose a tour on a separate morning or day when possible. That gives you a chance to appreciate the building without combining timed check-in with game-day traffic. Read whether your ticket includes field activities, follow the footwear guidance and use the tour’s specific parking and entry instructions.
Do not assume the game-day shuttle serves a tour. The tour page advises arriving 30 minutes before the booked time, and the available route can change around production work or events. Where to stay
Inglewood and Hollywood Park surroundings
Choose this area when the stadium is the main reason for the trip. Check the exact property location and a legal pedestrian route before paying a premium for “near SoFi” language. A short map distance can still involve busy roads or a long approach to the assigned gate.
For a one-night event visit, shortening the return journey may be more valuable than staying beside an unrelated tourist attraction. Ask the property directly about event-day access and any advertised shuttle, including whether it actually operates after your event.
LAX and Century Boulevard
The airport hotel corridor can suit short fly-in visits and travelers prioritizing flights. It is still a separate journey to the stadium and to Metro. Compare the airport transfer, stadium transfer and return arrangements rather than assuming one hotel shuttle covers all three.
This is a practical base, not a substitute for a beach holiday or a Hollywood sightseeing location. For families, compare breakfast arrangements, room configuration and the ability to rest before an evening event alongside the room rate.
South Bay, Santa Monica or a wider LA base
South Bay areas can fit a coast-and-football weekend, while Santa Monica works better for a trip where beach time is a central purpose. Downtown or Hollywood can suit a sightseeing-led stay. All require deliberate stadium transport, and none should be marketed as immediately beside SoFi.

The official accessibility guide details accessible seating, elevators, assistive listening devices, service-animal provisions and sensory support. Current sensory spaces are on Level 3 at the northeast Guest Services Center and southwest Guest Services Center inside Corona Beach Club. Ask staff about the appropriate route and access from your ticketed area.
Reserve suitable seating before buying transport or a hotel around a particular gate. Provide the venue with the practical details that matter: whether stairs are possible, whether a companion seat is needed, and whether the person will bring their own mobility device. A general promise of accessibility does not answer those individual questions.
The stadium FAQ says guests aged three and older need tickets for NFL games. Non-NFL rules can differ, and the event’s policy controls. Confirm arrangements for younger children rather than assuming a free admission includes a separate seat.
