Privacy Policy

Privacy & your choices

Understand what you share with us.

This policy explains how DayZora handles personal information when you visit DayZora.com, leave a comment or contact us.

Effective date: October 20, 2026

At a glance: DayZora uses Google Analytics and has installed Google AdSense code. These services can receive technical information about visits and may use cookies. Advertising availability depends on Google’s approval and service settings. Read section 3 for details and privacy choices. Contact support@dayzora.com with privacy questions.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to DayZora.com and correspondence you send to DayZora about the website. “We,” “us” and “our” refer to DayZora. It does not cover the independent websites, retailers, booking providers or social platforms you visit through our links.

2. Information we receive

Messages and inquiries

When you email, telephone or write to us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, message, relevant page links and attachments. We use it to respond, review corrections, handle privacy or rights requests and discuss proposals. Please send only what is needed for the request.

Comments

Where commenting is available, WordPress collects the information entered in the comment form, together with the commenter’s IP address and browser user-agent information to help identify spam and abuse. A published comment, display name and any website link you provide may be visible to other readers. Your email address is not displayed as part of the public comment.

Avatars are enabled. A hash derived from a commenter’s email address may be sent to Gravatar to retrieve a profile image. Gravatar is operated by Automattic; see its privacy policy. An approved comment may display that image publicly.

Technical information

Website hosting and delivery systems process technical information needed to serve pages and maintain security, which can include IP addresses, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps and referring pages. This supports delivery, troubleshooting, performance and abuse prevention. You do not need to create an account simply to read DayZora.

3. Cookies and similar features

WordPress uses cookies for functions such as sign-in, user preferences and remembering comment details. If you choose to save your name, email and website when commenting, the comment cookies normally remain for one year. You can leave that option unchecked.

For users who sign in, a temporary login-page cookie checks whether cookies are supported. Login cookies normally last two days, or two weeks if “Remember Me” is selected; display-preference cookies normally last one year. Logging out removes login cookies. An editor may receive a one-day cookie identifying a recently edited post. These account functions are separate from ordinary public reading.

Google Analytics

DayZora uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, including which pages are viewed and how readers reach and interact with them. Google can receive page URLs, IP addresses, browser and device information, and information associated with cookies or similar identifiers. This helps us evaluate and improve the website. See how Google uses information from sites using its services.

Google AdSense and advertising

Google AdSense code is installed on DayZora. Installing the code is separate from Google approving the site to display ads. When advertising services operate, third-party providers, including Google, may use cookies to select, deliver and measure ads based on visits to this site and other websites. Google and its partners may personalize ads using those advertising cookies, depending on settings, consent and applicable requirements.

Google services may receive technical information when their code loads even if no advertisement is displayed. The information can include the page URL, IP address, device and browser information, and identifiers. Google describes its processing in its Privacy Policy and advertising information.

Your cookie and advertising choices

You can manage Google ad personalization in Google Ad Settings, learn about participating providers’ opt-outs at YourAdChoices, and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Browser settings can block or remove cookies. These choices may affect features and do not necessarily prevent all technical information from reaching service providers. Contact us with questions about a privacy choice or request.

4. External images, embeds and links

Some pages load images or other resources from external providers. When your browser requests them, the provider can receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. An embedded video, map or social post, where present, may also use that provider’s cookies or recognize you if you are signed in to its service.

Following a link to a retailer, venue or other website takes you to that provider’s own service and privacy practices. Review their policies before submitting information or making a purchase. A DayZora link does not give us access to your account or payment details with that provider.

5. How information is used and disclosed

We use information to operate the website, respond to correspondence, publish and moderate comments, investigate reported errors, protect the service and meet applicable legal obligations.

Google analytics and advertising services can receive information through the site as described in section 3. Technical service providers, such as website hosting and email services, also process information needed to deliver their services. Information can also be disclosed where required by law or reasonably necessary to address security, fraud or legal claims. Public comments and external-resource requests work as described above.

Contacting support does not automatically subscribe you to marketing messages. If an optional mailing service is introduced, the sign-up process should explain what is being requested and how to unsubscribe.

6. Retention and security

Comments and their associated metadata can remain in WordPress indefinitely unless removed. Correspondence is retained as needed to address the request, maintain relevant records and resolve follow-up matters. Technical records and backups follow the relevant service’s retention arrangements. We do not state a fixed deletion period where one has not been established.

Access to nonpublic information should be limited to the people and services that need it for these purposes. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or identity documents in an initial inquiry.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You may contact us to ask about personal information associated with you, request a correction or ask for deletion. Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have additional rights to access, obtain a copy of, restrict or object to certain processing, or complain to a relevant privacy authority. The availability of a right depends on the circumstances and applicable law.

Email support@dayzora.com with the subject Privacy request, or use the mailing address above. Tell us which interaction or information the request concerns. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority. We may need to retain records required for legal, administrative or security reasons and will explain applicable limitations.

California residents can learn about rights and which businesses are covered by the CCPA through the California Attorney General’s privacy guidance. We do not represent that every law or right applies to every visitor or every website.

8. Children

DayZora is a general-audience editorial website, not a service directed to children under 13. Children should not send personal information through comments or correspondence. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

9. International access

People outside the United States can visit the website. Information sent to DayZora or processed by its service providers may be handled in countries with different privacy rules from those where you live. Contact us if you need more information about a particular interaction.

10. Changes to this policy

October 20, 2026 correction: Updated the Google services disclosures to reflect installed Analytics and AdSense code, removed contradictory statements that those services were not enabled, and added privacy-choice links.

We will revise this policy when our relevant practices change and update the effective date. Material changes will be identified on this page, with additional notice or choices where required. Adding analytics, advertising technology or a mailing service requires reviewing these disclosures before that new use begins.

For questions about this policy, use Contact. For website-use conditions, see our Terms.
