The best smartphones for 2027 planning are the ones that solve a real problem with your current phone: too little storage, a camera without useful zoom, an uncomfortable size, or security support that is running out. Paying more does not automatically improve every one of those things.
Product information last reviewed: September 30, 2026. This is an early 2027 buying guide to phones already released and offered for sale in the United States. It does not predict unannounced 2027 phones. Prices are a dated snapshot and will need checking again when you buy.
For a balanced iPhone, start with iPhone 17. For Android with optical zoom and a long update policy, compare Pixel 11 and Galaxy S26. The Pixel 10a is the lower-cost starting point; Moto G 2026 costs less still, with substantial performance and support compromises. Foldables make sense when their different shape has a daily purpose.
How DayZora Selected These Products
This is a research-based comparison, not a hands-on laboratory test. We checked manufacturer specifications, US sales configurations and published software-support information. Recommendations reflect those documented features, purchase costs and practical compromises. We have not measured camera quality, gaming frame rates, reception or real-world battery endurance on these phones.
We selected 15 distinct models across everyday use, budget buying, photography, pen input and folding designs. A larger version appears only where screen size, battery or charging changes the buying decision. Products shown as preorder-only or unavailable for direct purchase were not selected. OnePlus 15 was excluded because its US store showed “Stop sale” during this check.
All listed prices are US dollars before tax, for the specified unlocked configuration, without trade-in, carrier bill credits, financing or an optional protection plan. A retailer’s launch price is not necessarily its current price. Apple’s iPhone 17 connection discount is separated below; Samsung bundle credits are not subtracted from a phone’s price.
Battery capacities, charging limits and playback times are manufacturer specifications, not comparable DayZora test results. A charger’s wattage also does not necessarily equal the power the phone draws throughout charging.

1. Apple iPhone 17
Best for: A balanced iPhone upgrade.
Model/configuration reviewed: US Black, 256GB, connect to a carrier later.
Approx. price: $929 at Apple.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: A19; 6.3-inch 2622 × 1206 OLED with ProMotion up to 120Hz; 48MP main and ultrawide cameras; 18MP front camera; 177g; IP68; USB-C at USB 2 speeds. Apple does not publish RAM or battery capacity on the cited US specifications page. MagSafe and Qi2 charging support up to 25W; Apple rates video playback at up to 30 hours.
Why It Stands Out
This is the sensible starting point before spending more on a Pro. The ultrawide camera and smoother display address everyday uses—group pictures, interiors and scrolling—without requiring a specialist camera workflow.
Key Strengths
The main camera includes stabilization, and the ultrawide adds macro photography. The 256GB starting capacity gives more breathing room for local photos and downloaded video than a 128GB phone.
Considerations
Apple advertises $899 with an eligible carrier connection; the comparable connect-later price was $929. There is no dedicated telephoto lens. USB 2 transfer speed matters if you regularly move large video files by cable.
Who Should Buy It
Choose it when you want to remain with iOS and use a broad mix of messaging, photos and entertainment. Apple specifications and current configurations.
Who May Prefer Something Else
The 17e saves money; the 18 Pro adds a real telephoto camera and faster wired file transfer.
2. Google Pixel 11
Best for: Everyday Android with optical zoom.
Model/configuration reviewed: US unlocked, 12GB RAM/256GB.
Approx. price: $899 at Google Store.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: Tensor G6; 6.3-inch 1080 × 2424 OLED at 60–120Hz; 48MP main, 13MP ultrawide and 10.8MP 5x telephoto; 10.5MP autofocus front camera; 4,985mAh; Qi2.2/Pixelsnap charging up to 25W; IP68; Android 17 at launch; seven years of updates from first US availability.
Why It Stands Out
The regular Pixel includes a dedicated telephoto camera. That makes it worth considering before assuming you need a Pro to frame distant details or isolate a subject without walking closer.
Key Strengths
The main and telephoto cameras have optical stabilization. A long published support period helps buyers who would rather replace a battery than replace an otherwise useful phone.
Considerations
Google’s lower headline offer requires an eligible trade-in. The US Pixel 11 uses eSIM rather than a physical SIM. Google’s 55%-in-30-minutes charging claim uses a separate 30W-or-higher PPS adapter; it is not an endurance test.
Who Should Buy It
It fits people who want Google’s software and useful camera choices in a manageable size. Specifications and unlocked price.
Who May Prefer Something Else
Choose the 10a for lower cost or the Pro for its different camera hardware and LTPO display.
3. Samsung Galaxy S26
Best for: A light flagship Android.
Model/configuration reviewed: Black, unlocked SM-S942UZKEXAA, 12GB/256GB.
Approx. price: $999.99 at Samsung.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: US Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy; 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED at 1–120Hz; 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide and 10MP 3x telephoto; 12MP front; 4,300mAh; 25W wired/15W wireless charging; 167g; IP68; Android 16/One UI 8.5 at launch.
Why It Stands Out
It provides flagship-class hardware without the size of an Ultra. Check how a phone feels in your hand before using screen diagonal as a substitute for comfort.
Key Strengths
A real 3x lens creates a useful middle-distance framing option. Samsung promises seven OS generations and seven years of security updates from global launch.
Considerations
The current store price was higher than the launch price still appearing in older results. Charging is less ambitious than on the S26+ or Ultra; the power adapter is extra.
Who Should Buy It
Consider it if you like Samsung’s interface and prefer a smaller everyday phone. US specifications and support policy and exact configuration.
Who May Prefer Something Else
The S26+ suits bigger-screen use. Pixel 11 offers a different software experience and 5x optical framing for less at these checked prices.
4. Google Pixel 10a
Best for: Lower-cost ownership with a long support policy.
Model/configuration reviewed: US unlocked, 8GB/128GB.
Approx. price: $499 at Google Store.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: Tensor G4; 6.3-inch 1080 × 2424 pOLED, 60–120Hz; 48MP stabilized main and 13MP ultrawide; 13MP front; 5,100mAh; Qi wireless charging; IP68; Android 16 at launch; seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates from first US availability.
Why It Stands Out
Support matters more than a benchmark headline when your plan is to keep a phone for years. The 10a offers that foundation without requiring a flagship budget.
Key Strengths
It retains wireless charging, a stabilized main camera and a physical nano-SIM alongside eSIM. Those are useful conveniences that can disappear on cheaper models.
Considerations
Tensor G4 is older than the G6 in Pixel 11, and there is no telephoto lens. Qi charging is not the same as built-in Pixelsnap magnets. Google’s fast-charge claim uses a 45W-or-higher PPS adapter, sold separately.
Who Should Buy It
It is a strong starting point for ordinary communication, navigation and photos when you want predictable support costs. Official specifications and buying options.
Who May Prefer Something Else
Buy more than 128GB if you keep extensive offline media. Heavy gaming and specialist camera needs justify comparing pricier options.
5. Apple iPhone 17e
Best for: A less expensive route into the current iPhone range.
Model/configuration reviewed: Black, 256GB, connect later.
Approx. price: $699 at Apple.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: A19 with four-core GPU; 6.1-inch 2532 × 1170 OLED; 48MP stabilized main camera; 12MP front; 169g; IP68; USB 2; MagSafe/Qi2 up to 15W; manufacturer-rated video playback up to 26 hours. RAM and mAh are not published by Apple here.
Why It Stands Out
The 17e keeps the decision focused: you get iOS and substantial storage while avoiding a payment for cameras you may rarely use.
Key Strengths
MagSafe broadens charging and accessory options. Its relatively modest screen size can appeal to someone replacing an older, smaller phone.
Considerations
There is no ultrawide camera or ProMotion. Apple does not list a numeric refresh rate on the cited specifications page. The single main camera’s cropped views do not create a separate optical telephoto lens.
Who Should Buy It
Choose it for everyday iPhone use when the savings matter more than extra camera angles. Specifications and connect-later prices.
Who May Prefer Something Else
The iPhone 17 is more versatile for photography. Pixel 10a offers a smoother specified refresh range and an ultrawide camera at a lower checked price if you are open to Android.
6. Samsung Galaxy A57 5G
Best for: A large-screen midrange Galaxy.
Model/configuration reviewed: Awesome Gray, unlocked SM-A576UZAAXAA, 8GB/128GB.
Approx. price: $599.99 at Samsung.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: Exynos 1680; 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED, 120Hz; 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide and 5MP macro; 12MP front; 5,000mAh; 45W wired charging; 179g; IP68; Android 16/One UI 8.5 at launch; six OS generations and six years of security support.
Why It Stands Out
The A57 offers a larger canvas for reading, maps and video without reaching S-series pricing. Its support policy also makes it more than a short-term purchase.
Key Strengths
The relatively light body and large OLED screen are a useful combination for people who increase text size. An ultrawide camera adds practical flexibility.
Considerations
There is no wireless charging or dedicated telephoto lens. Compare the actual 128GB price with the cost of enough storage; expired promotions can make this model look cheaper than it currently is.
Who Should Buy It
It suits Samsung users who prioritize screen size and ordinary apps over flagship extras. US launch specifications and support and exact US store model.
Who May Prefer Something Else
Pixel 10a costs less and includes wireless charging; S26 provides a true zoom lens and a smaller body.
7. Motorola Moto G 2026
Best for: Basic use with expandable storage.
Model/configuration reviewed: PANTONE Slipstream, unlocked PB9D0012US, 4GB/128GB.
Approx. price: $249.99 sale, listed regular price $299.99.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: Dimensity 6300; 6.7-inch 1604 × 720 LCD at 120Hz; 50MP main plus 2MP macro; 32MP front; 5,200mAh; 30W wired charging; 202g; USB 2; microSD up to 1TB; headphone jack; Android 16 at launch.
Why It Stands Out
It covers essential phone tasks while retaining ports and storage expansion that expensive flagships often omit. That can reduce the need to replace wired headphones or buy cloud storage.
Key Strengths
NFC, a physical SIM and eSIM provide useful everyday flexibility. The memory-card slot can hold media without using all the internal space reserved for apps.
Considerations
The screen is HD+, not Full HD. Four gigabytes of physical RAM is limiting for heavy multitasking; “RAM Boost” uses storage and is not additional physical RAM. Motorola describes water repellence, not waterproofing. Its support page lists security updates ending December 2028.
Who Should Buy It
Choose it for calls, messaging and light app use with realistic expectations. Current US price and specifications.
Who May Prefer Something Else
For several more years of supported ownership or heavier apps, budget toward the Pixel 10a rather than treating this as an equivalent flagship bargain.
8. Apple iPhone 18 Pro
Best for: More flexible iPhone photography and video.
Model/configuration reviewed: Black, 6.3-inch Pro, 256GB, connect later.
Approx. price: $1,199.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: A20 Pro; 2622 × 1206 OLED with ProMotion up to 120Hz; three 48MP rear cameras including a 4x optical telephoto; 18MP front; variable-aperture main camera; USB 3 up to 10Gb/s; 211g; IP68; up to 25W MagSafe/Qi2.
Why It Stands Out
The reasons to pay for this Pro are concrete: more framing choices, a variable main-camera aperture and faster cable transfers. Those matter more than simply wanting the newest model name.
Key Strengths
The telephoto supports shooting a subject from farther away. USB 3 can simplify moving large files to a computer, provided the cable and receiving device support the faster connection.
Considerations
Apple’s 8x “optical-quality” option is not an 8x optical lens. Its up-to-36-hour video playback figure is a manufacturer claim. The fast-charge claim requires a separate compatible 60W AVS adapter; that does not establish continuous 60W phone charging.
Who Should Buy It
Choose it if you regularly use the extra camera or video features. Technical specifications and US configurations.
Who May Prefer Something Else
The regular 17 is lighter and less expensive for everyday pictures. A Pro label alone does not make a casual snapshot worth the upgrade cost.
9. Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
Best for: S Pen use and multiple zoom lenses.
Model/configuration reviewed: Black, unlocked SM-S948UZKAXAA, 12GB/256GB.
Approx. price: $1,399.99.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy; 6.9-inch QHD+ AMOLED, 1–120Hz; 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide, 10MP 3x and 50MP 5x telephotos; 12MP front; 5,000mAh; 60W wired/25W wireless charging; 214g; IP68.
Why It Stands Out
Its combination of pen input and two optical telephoto choices addresses uses that smaller phones do not. Think document annotation, handwritten notes and varied framing rather than assuming the highest megapixel count guarantees the best photo.
Key Strengths
The large display gives pen work room. Samsung also includes its Privacy Display feature and a seven-generation OS/seven-year security policy from global launch.
Considerations
Try the body size with a case before buying. Protection, storage upgrades and eventual screen repair can make total ownership substantially more expensive than the base price.
Who Should Buy It
It suits buyers who will use the pen or camera versatility often. Exact US price and Samsung specifications.
Who May Prefer Something Else
The S26+ is a simpler large-screen option. For notes that need a full page, compare our best tablets instead.
10. Google Pixel 11 Pro
Best for: Google’s premium camera hardware in a smaller phone.
Model/configuration reviewed: Obsidian (Matte), unlocked, 12GB/256GB.
Approx. price: $1,099 without trade-in.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: Tensor G6; 6.3-inch 1280 × 2856 LTPO OLED, 1–120Hz; 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide and 48MP 5x telephoto; 42MP autofocus front; 4,850mAh; up to 25W Qi2.2; IP68; Android 17 at launch; seven years of updates.
Why It Stands Out
This is the Pixel to consider when the camera system matters more than a bigger screen. It avoids making the Pro XL’s larger dimensions the admission price for the Pro camera setup.
Key Strengths
The ultrawide supports macro focusing, and the main and telephoto cameras include stabilization. The LTPO panel can vary refresh rate down to 1Hz under supported conditions.
Considerations
The 256GB version has 12GB RAM; 16GB belongs to higher storage configurations. Its 8K Video Boost feature should not be confused with an ordinary local 8K recording workflow. AI features may require connectivity or subscriptions.
Who Should Buy It
Choose it for a compact Google flagship when the camera upgrades justify the premium. Specifications and store configuration.
Who May Prefer Something Else
Pixel 11 already has a 5x lens. Compare the additional features you will use before paying for the Pro name.
11. Samsung Galaxy S26+
Best for: A larger conventional Galaxy without the Ultra’s pen-focused design.
Model/configuration reviewed: Black, unlocked SM-S947UZKAXAA, 12GB/256GB.
Approx. price: $1,199.99.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy; 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED, 1–120Hz; 4,900mAh; 45W wired/20W wireless charging; 190g; IP68; 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP 3x telephoto and 12MP front cameras.
Why It Stands Out
The Plus is mainly a size and power-system choice. A bigger screen can make maps, video and larger text easier to use without requiring a folding mechanism.
Key Strengths
It increases battery capacity and charging capability over the regular S26 while keeping the familiar flat-phone form. The same long Samsung update policy applies.
Considerations
Its cameras closely match the smaller S26’s. Do not spend the difference expecting the Ultra’s extra lens or S Pen. The charger is sold separately.
Who Should Buy It
Pick it when you want more screen space and are comfortable carrying a larger phone. Exact US configuration and US specifications.
Who May Prefer Something Else
The regular S26 saves money and weight. Buyers who need handwritten notes should compare the Ultra or Moto G Stylus.
12. Apple iPhone Air
Best for: A thin, light iPhone with a larger display.
Model/configuration reviewed: Space Black, 256GB, connect later.
Approx. price: $1,099.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: A19 Pro with five-core GPU; 6.5-inch 2736 × 1260 OLED, ProMotion up to 120Hz; 165g; 5.64mm body; 48MP main and 18MP front cameras; IP68; USB 2; up to 20W MagSafe/Qi2. Apple rates video playback at up to 27 hours.
Why It Stands Out
The Air makes weight and thinness the main purchase rationale. For someone who dislikes a heavy phone but wants more screen area, that is a legitimate preference rather than a specification contest.
Key Strengths
You get a high-refresh display in a light body. It is worth handling in a store with the kind of case you intend to use, because a thick case changes the appeal.
Considerations
There is only one rear camera, with no ultrawide or separate telephoto. The price exceeds the more camera-versatile iPhone 17. This is the released iPhone Air, not an assumed second-generation model.
Who Should Buy It
Choose it when carrying comfort outweighs camera variety. Specifications and US connect-later prices.
Who May Prefer Something Else
The iPhone 17 offers more rear-camera flexibility for less; the 18 Pro better serves camera and file-transfer workflows.
13. Motorola Moto G Stylus 2026
Best for: Built-in pen input without flagship Ultra pricing.
Model/configuration reviewed: PANTONE Coal Smoke, unlocked PBAM0021US, 8GB/256GB.
Approx. price: $599.99.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: Snapdragon 6 Gen 3; 6.7-inch 2712 × 1220 AMOLED, up to 120Hz; 50MP stabilized main, 13MP ultrawide/macro and 32MP front cameras; 5,200mAh; 68W wired/15W wireless charging; microSD support; IP68/IP69; Android 16 at launch.
Why It Stands Out
The integrated active stylus is the reason to shortlist it. A pen stored in the phone is easier to keep available for a quick diagram, annotation or handwritten reminder.
Key Strengths
The screen provides room for notes, while expandable storage helps with saved documents and media. Wireless charging is included despite the lower price than pen-equipped flagship phones.
Considerations
The physical RAM is 8GB, not the larger number advertised with virtual RAM Boost. A suitable 68W charger is extra. Motorola’s current support plan ends security updates in April 2029; the support page lists Android 17 as the next OS.
Who Should Buy It
Consider it when you will actually use the pen and accept the shorter support horizon. Exact configuration and specifications.
Who May Prefer Something Else
If the pen would stay unused, Pixel 10a is less expensive and has a longer update policy. Ultra buyers get a different performance and camera tier.
14. Motorola Razr 2026
Best for: A flip phone that takes less pocket height when folded.
Model/configuration reviewed: PANTONE Hematite, unlocked PBB70003US, 8GB/256GB.
Approx. price: $799.99.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: Dimensity 7450X; 6.9-inch 1080 × 2640 LTPO AMOLED at 120Hz inside, 3.6-inch 1056 × 1066 AMOLED at 90Hz outside; 50MP main with OIS, 50MP ultrawide and 32MP front; 4,800mAh; 30W wired/15W wireless; 188g; IP48; Android 16.
Why It Stands Out
Its appeal is the folding shape and cover screen. It can reduce how often you open the full display for short interactions, provided your preferred apps work well on the cover.
Key Strengths
A partly folded phone supports convenient camera positioning. The unlocked US model supports a physical SIM and eSIM.
Considerations
IP48 does not mean dustproof. A flexible inner screen deserves different care from a conventional glass-front phone. The box does not include a power adapter. Motorola lists security updates through June 2030, with regional and channel qualifications.
Who Should Buy It
Choose it after trying the cover-screen workflow and folded thickness in person. US model, price and specifications.
Who May Prefer Something Else
A standard phone offers fewer mechanical complications. Pixel 11 provides a dedicated zoom lens and a longer stated support window.
15. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8
Best for: Reading and side-by-side apps on a larger inner screen.
Model/configuration reviewed: Cream, unlocked SM-F971UZWEXAA, 12GB/512GB.
Approx. price: $2,099.99 displayed configuration price before optional offers.
Price checked: September 30, 2026.
Key specifications: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy; 7.6-inch 1848 × 2448 inner and 5.5-inch 1248 × 1972 cover AMOLED displays, both 1–120Hz; 201g; 4,800mAh; 45W wired/20W wireless; two 50MP rear cameras; 10MP selfie camera on each screen; IP48; Android 17/One UI 9.
Why It Stands Out
This Fold’s wider inner canvas can make a document and message thread usable together. That is a more compelling reason to buy than merely wanting the most expensive phone in a range.
Key Strengths
The 512GB configuration provides space for local documents and media. Samsung states seven OS generations and seven years of security support from initial global launch.
Considerations
This is Fold8, not Fold8 Ultra: there is no dedicated rear telephoto camera. IP48 is not dustproofing. Samsung showed separate no-trade-in and bundle offers; verify the final phone total and conditions rather than automatically subtracting every banner credit.
Who Should Buy It
It fits people who will unfold the screen for useful work or reading daily. Specifications, support policy and exact US configuration.
Who May Prefer Something Else
If you rarely multitask on a phone, compare a regular phone plus a tablet or one of our best laptops. Price the complete combination before deciding.
How to Choose the Right Smartphone
Start With the Limitation You Want to Fix
Write down the three things that frustrate you about your existing phone. If the answer is simply “battery,” check the cost of a battery replacement before replacing the whole device. If your problem is insufficient storage, confirm that the configuration in your basket—not just the product family—solves it.
Decide on Software Before Accessories
Switching operating systems can affect your watch, purchased apps, messaging preferences and household support routine. Check your essential apps and accessory compatibility before buying. Our wireless earbuds guide explains why some audio features depend on the phone ecosystem.
Separate Camera Hardware From Advertising
A dedicated telephoto lens is different from a crop described as optical-quality zoom. Megapixels alone do not rank image quality. For children, pets, sport or evening photos, seek credible sample comparisons for that exact use rather than relying only on the number of cameras.
Price the Full Ownership Period
Add the charger you actually need, a case, sufficient storage and any insurance or cloud service you intend to keep. Divide that total by the supported years you realistically expect to use the phone. An inexpensive phone whose update window ends soon can be poor value for a long ownership plan.
Check Carrier and Travel Compatibility
Unlocked does not guarantee every carrier feature on every network. Confirm the exact US model with your carrier, including Wi-Fi calling. US iPhones here and Pixel 11 models use eSIM; that matters if your travel routine relies on buying physical SIM cards. Include activation and backup plans in your travel packing checklist.
Treat Durability Ratings as Limits
Water resistance can deteriorate, and liquid damage may be excluded from warranties. IP48 foldables are not dustproof. Check repair availability and the deductible of any protection plan before assuming it removes the cost risk of a damaged screen.
Software Support: What the Dates Mean
Pixel 10a, Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro promise seven years of updates from first US availability. Samsung’s S26 models and Fold8 have seven-generation OS/seven-year security policies from initial global launch; A57 has six generations and six years. These clocks do not restart when you buy.
Motorola’s model-specific security page listed December 2028 for Moto G 2026, April 2029 for Moto G Stylus 2026 and June 2030 for Razr 2026. It describes current plans that can vary by region and channel. “Next OS: Android 17” does not establish an unlimited update commitment.
Apple’s cited US product pages do not state a fixed support end date. We have therefore not assigned these iPhones an invented seven-year guarantee. Check ongoing software compatibility and repair options when buying later in the model’s life.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which smartphone is the best overall?
There is no single winner across operating systems and budgets. iPhone 17 is our balanced iPhone starting point; Pixel 11 and Galaxy S26 are everyday Android candidates. Choose by the features you will use and the current price of the exact storage configuration.
Is 128GB enough, or should I buy 256GB?
Check your existing storage usage and leave room for growth. Light users who stream most media can manage 128GB; frequent video recording, offline downloads and large games favor 256GB or more. Most phones here cannot add storage later.
Are carrier phone deals cheaper than buying unlocked?
Sometimes, but compare the complete service and device cost over the required term. Bill credits may stop when you leave, and a required plan may cost more than your current plan. A headline “free phone” is not the same as a zero-cost ownership period.
Does a bigger battery guarantee longer battery life?
No. Screen behavior, signal strength, processor, apps and standby use all matter. Manufacturer playback claims use different conditions. We list capacities and charging specifications without inventing a battery-life ranking.
Should I buy a foldable phone?
Only if its shape improves something you do often. A Razr becomes shorter when folded; a Fold8 opens into a larger workspace. Try the screen, keyboard, crease and case before committing, and compare repair costs with a conventional phone.
Do these phones include a charger?
Do not assume so. The compared Apple, Google and Samsung models require a separate power adapter; the cited Motorola packages also omit the fast charger. Check the box contents and supported charging protocol for your exact retail listing.
Should I wait for a 2027 phone?
Wait if your current phone remains useful and supported and you have no urgent reason to replace it. This guide covers released products verified in September 2026; it does not promise that they will remain the best-priced choices after future launches.

Compare the unlocked total with any conditional deal, and recheck stock and return terms on the linked official store. For most people, buying the features they will use regularly is more useful than buying the most expensive model available.
