Editorial correction — October 13, 2026: This is an equipment-shopping checklist, not a verified list of live 2026 discounts. Unsupported promises about the best buying date, automatic rebate stacking and equipment lowering scores have been removed.
Black Friday is November 27, 2026. A sale label does not tell you whether a club fits, whether the advertised configuration is available or whether the final price beats another seller. Decide what needs replacing before browsing promotions.
Compare the exact item
| Equipment | Details to match |
|---|---|
| Driver, wood or hybrid | Handedness, loft, shaft model, flex, length, condition and included accessories. |
| Iron set | Every included club, shaft specification and whether the listing is a full set or a single iron. |
| Wedge or putter | Loft, bounce or head configuration, length, grip and fit with your existing equipment. |
| Balls and accessories | Quantity, model, condition, customization and delivery cost. |
| Electronic equipment | Compatibility, required subscriptions, warranty and any setup costs. |
For clubs, use a fitting or an opportunity to try the equipment when practical. Shaft labels and a general swing-speed rule do not establish the right configuration for every player. An adjustable club still needs to suit the person using it.
Calculate the cost after extras
Write down the item price, shipping, taxes, fitting or adjustment charges and any necessary accessories. Keep trade-in credit separate from the seller’s discount: giving up an existing club has value. A hypothetical $300 club with $25 delivery costs $325 before tax; a local $315 price may be cheaper before considering collection costs.
Compare previous-generation or pre-owned equipment by condition and specifications, not simply by year. A lower price does not prove two models perform identically. Ask about wear, alterations and warranty coverage before paying.
Read promotion exclusions before combining offers
PGA TOUR Superstore’s official FAQ lists manufacturer and product exclusions and says certain offers cannot be combined. Its online price-match terms require an identical, in-stock item from specified competitors and are subject to manufacturer pricing policies. That is not evidence that every retailer matches every sale or that Black Friday discounts automatically stack.
Refunds and performance exchanges are different
The retailer’s returns page distinguishes returns of new, unused products from its golf-club performance exchange program. The latter has conditions and provides qualifying in-store credit rather than an unconditional cash refund. Custom, limited-edition and used equipment need particular attention.
Before ordering anywhere, record the seller, condition requirements, deadline, return-shipping responsibility and whether the remedy is a refund, exchange or credit. Check the rules for your country and sales channel; one retailer’s US terms do not apply worldwide.
When should you buy?
Buy when the equipment meets a defined need and the verified total cost fits your budget. This guide cannot predict the lowest future price. If a listing has unclear specifications or unsuitable return terms, waiting can be more useful than securing a nominal discount. See the Black Friday planning guide for the broader calendar.
