BEST MOVIES STREAMING NOW · US EDITION
The best movies streaming now are the ones you can actually open through the subscription you have. This US guide compares 14 films across Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu and Apple TV, with a direct availability source for each selection.
All films in the main table are currently listed as included with the named subscription at the October 2 check. Rental and purchase offers are a different access type, even when they appear inside the same app. This is a focused selection rather than an exhaustive catalog, and availability can change after checking.

How to use this guide
Availability was checked against current public US service listings, studio pages and, for the two Prime Video selections, US-specific JustWatch availability pages cross-referenced with release information. This verifies public catalog claims rather than playback on a paid personal account. The date applies to this edition; geographic rights, plan entitlements and removals can change.
Frequently asked questions
Does included with subscription mean free?
No. It means the film is listed within the named paid service at this check, without a separate rental or purchase charge through that service. Subscription terms and advertisements depend on your plan.
Does the Apple TV app include every film with Apple TV?
No. The app also contains rentals, purchases and other channels. The linked Mayday and Outcome pages are Apple TV subscription listings; do not generalize that to every film in the app.
Why can Hulu content appear inside Disney+?
Access can depend on your subscription or bundle entitlement. The Hulu entries here require appropriate Hulu access; a Disney+ logo or search result alone does not establish inclusion in every plan.
Why is there no HBO Max section in this edition?
This edition prioritizes the selections for which current US subscription inclusion was checked. It does not make a claim that HBO Max lacks worthwhile films; platform sections can be expanded when corresponding title checks are completed.
